Abstract
Irene Walker (1919-2002) was a Parsons School of Design alumna ('51) and an interior designer, who worked for the firm McMillen Inc., before establishing her own firm, Joie de Vivre, Irene Walker Inc., in 1966. The collection consists of Walker's student work and documentation of her professional work.

Summary
Collection consists of student projects created as a final assignment for Professor Esther Choi's Advanced Research Seminar: Constructed Environments during the fall 2016 semester. All students were undergraduates in The New School's Parsons School of Design, primarily in architecture, interior design, and product design programs. The projects take the form of design manifestoes, combining text, images, and different forms of presentation.

Robert Galster (1923-1991) and Gilbert Ireland (1924-2015) were designers and alumni of Parsons School of Design. Galster worked as a freelance illustrator and designer. Ireland designed window displays for Bergdorf Goodman for over forty years. The collection consists primarily of Galster's work and includes examples of his designs for books, album covers, and theater posters.
