Biography

The New School General Assembly refers to the combined student representation of the various divisions of The New School (College of the Performing Arts, Eugene Lang College, the New School for Social Research, Parsons School of Design, and the Schools for Public Engagement) for the purpose of organizing as part of the Occupy Wall Street movement of Fall 2011. The organization planned and promoted participation in the New York All-City Student Assembly strike, to occur on November 17, 2011 in conjunction with other labor-related groups, as part of the Occupy Wall Street protests.
