Fashion editor Edith Raymond Locke introduces an AIDS memorial quilt students made from Parsons students' fabric scraps. The quilt was auctioned, with proceeds to be donated to the People With Aids Coalition (PWAC). The Gold Thimble Awards are announced. Robert Best receives Student Designer of the Year.
