Video of the Parsons The New School for Design annual fashion show at Pier Sixty. The event honors Fred Wilson, chairman and chief executive officer at Saks Fifth Avenue. The video opens with New School University President Bob Kerrey presenting the Parsons Award to Wilson. Kerrey introduces Paul Goldberger, executive dean of Parsons. Goldberger presents a video produced by Saks, which features designs from Parsons students. Tim Gunn, chair of the Fashion Design Department, announces another, "static" senior show will be displayed at the studio of Diane von Furstenberg. Jennifer Breeden receives Designer of the Year Award. The runway show follows.
