Items include a variety of materials originally compiled and filed together in a hanging folder file titled, "History Performing Arts New School." Documents include early planning and proposals, memoranda, correspondence, and reports related to the Jazz program, as well as the relationship and temporary merger of the Jazz program and Mannes College of Music, and early research and planning for a larger performing arts division at the university.
