File documents the Mobilization for Real Diversity, Democracy and Economic Justice at The New School, often referred to simply as "the Mobilization," in the form of fliers and posters. These photocopied records were compiled and maintained by Mustafa Emirbayer, a professor in the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research's Sociology Department, for use in a course he taught. When Professor Emirbayer left The New School in 1999, New School librarian Carmen Hendershott became the custodian of his Mobilization files before transferring them to The New School Archives upon the establishment of the Archives, circa 2012.
