While files throughout the collection contain documentation of Professor Matynia's work related to ECEP and TCDS administration, programs, and funding, this series consists of Matynia's lecture notes, research materials, prospectuses, and papers by Matynia and colleagues, as well as notes and syllabi for courses that Matynia both participated in and taught at The New School and Bard College. Folder titles are transcribed from Matynia's original folders and sometimes represent course titles, while other times they represent general topics that may represent more than one course, and frequently cover more than one semester. Files include some published material, including news clippings, although many clippings have been removed from the collection.
