Dedication of the Theresa Lang Student Center and Sidonia Milano Atrium, described by President Fanton as the first center at the university created expressly to serve the growing population of undergraduate students at the New School. The center was located in a "quaint brownstone" on West 11th Street, across from the "College Center" building at 65 West 11th Street, which in 1997 was renamed the Eugene Lang Building.
