Contains a photograph of Nadien at age 12-13 with his violin teacher, Adolpho Betti in Italy, as well as photographs of Nadien with violinist Ivan Galamian at the Meadowmount School of Music in the 1940s. A large-sized photograph inscribed "378 Army Service Forces Dinner, Hotel George Washington, Sept. 14, 1945" depicts Nadien with other members of his unit.

Also contains a photograph of Nadien as concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic under conductor Leonard Bernstein in the 1960s.
