After a review of the Department of Architecture, Interior Design and Lighting mission and future goals in 2006, the department chair Kent Kleinman drafted a new plan of action for the department. This folder contains a draft of the department's strategic plan from 2006 and earlier summaries and letters to faculty of the Department of Environmental Design Architecture Degree Program from 1986 and 1987. The summaries of the department's history document the continued efforts to expand the degree program and its undergraduate curriculum, which are supplemented by a news release announcing the United States' first graduate program in architecture and design criticism to open at Parsons School of Design in the fall of 1986.
