The folder includes a substantive exchange between Martin Mueller and Charles (Chuck) Kaufman, dean of Mannes College of Music, on the structural conflict arising from there being two separate jazz degrees at The New School. Also includes notes from New School president, Jonathan Fanton, and an invitation from acting provost Elizabeth Dickey to a 1999 reception celebrating Mueller's appointment as executive director of Jazz and Contemporary Music.
