Consists of records related to international projects undertaken or continued during Charles Olton’s tenure. Series primarily focuses on the five schools affiliated with Parsons School of Design—Altos de Chavon in the Dominican Republic, the Center for Advanced Design in Malaysia, Kanazawa International Design Institute (KIDI) in Japan, Samsung Art and Design Institute (SADI) in Korea, and Parsons Paris in France. Files concerning international affiliate schools include records related to planning, funding, and maintaining these institutions. Other materials include correspondence about international scholarships, collaborative workshops between Parsons and educational institutions, and recruiting strategies.
