Wall Street and the Economy conference recordings
The New School hosted the long-running annual conference, “Wall Street and the Economy," from 1967 until 1990. The conference participants were both individual and institutional investors in financial markets, and consisted of panel discussions aimed at providing economic forecasts for the coming year. The collection consists of sound recordings from the earlier years of the conference.
Wisdom of Life lecture recordings
The New School's Adult Division offered the special lecture series, "Wisdom of Life,” in the Fall 1959 and Spring 1960 semesters. Guest lecturers representing a a variety of professional experiences and personal backgrounds ranged in age from 60s to 80s. The course sought to provide audience members with “a better understanding of life through the experiences of those whose personal contributions to society have been deep and lasting.” The collection consists of audio recordings from the series, including the lectures of Richard Schüller, Lillian Gilbreth, G. Bromley Oxnam, Robert MacIver, and Dorothy Day.
Women's Legacy at The New School collection
This collection consists of material related to the Women's Legacy at The New School project, including student-led research projects, documentation of a performance during the New School Centennial in 2019, and a podcast interview with co-founder of the project, Gina Luria Walker.
World Music Institute concert recordings
Between 1994 and 1997, the non-profit organization, World Music Institute, sponsored a series of concerts preceded by lectures at The New School, featuring musicians and musical styles from Central Asia, India, Iran, Latin America and elsewhere. The collection consists of audio recordings of these public programs.

Worlds of Knowledge: Great Conversations was a special lecture series held at The New School in two consecutive Fall semesters in 1990 and 1991. The collection consists of audio recordings of public conversations between political scientist and New School professor Ralph Buultjens and a series of seven writers, scholars and public figures, held during the Fall 1990 semester.
