Graduate Faculty Political Economy working papers
This collection consists of working papers, numbered 1-56 (with some gaps in numbering), originating from the Committee on Political Economy of the New School for Social Research. The numbers were assigned by the Committee and follow a rough chronological order. Authors include Thomas I. Palley, David M. Gordon, Willi Semmler, and Alice H. Amsden.

Gustavo Ojeda papers and website
Gustavo Ojeda (1958-1989) was a Cuban-born, New York City-based artist known for his paintings of nighttime cityscapes. The collection includes Ojeda's sketches, exhibition records and catalogs, Parsons School of Design student papers, personal papers, including diaries, and an artist's website created by his nephew, Gabriel Ojeda-Sagué.
Hank O'Neal Shadow Man photographic prints
Seven black and white photographic prints by New York-based photographer Hank O'Neal, from a series documenting artist Richard Hambleton's Shadow Man paintings, which were painted on the walls of buildings around Manhattan's East Village in 1981 and 1982.
Hannah Arendt New School faculty files
Hannah Arendt was University Professor in Philosophy from 1967-1975 in The New School's Graduate Faculty (later, New School for Social Research). These records stem from her work as professor and advisor to students, and her involvement with the Tenure Committee. Student files consist of transcripts, writing samples, resumes, referral requests, grant applications and correspondence, among other documents related to graduate student admissions.
Harold Matossian graphic design work for Knoll
In 1979, Harold Matossian (Parsons School of Design, 1968) became director of the Knoll furniture company's graphics department, producing invitations, brochures, stationery, catalogs and other corporate literature for the company until 1994. The Kellen Design Archives holds finished examples of these graphics.
Harry B. Baker papers
Harry B. Baker (1868-1941) was an illustrator who taught at the New York School of Fine and Applied Art (which became Parsons School of Design) in the early 20th century. Before moving to New York, Baker traveled the American West. He illustrated bar fights, cowboys, Native Americans, and street scenes. The collection includes photographs of Baker and his students, a letter from Frank Alvah Parsons, and illustrations by Baker.
Harry Gideonse records
Harry Gideonse served as chancellor of the New School for Social Research (now The New School) from 1966 to 1975. This collection contains administrative material from his time at the New School for Social Research, and from work with other organizations during this period, including Freedom House and City University of New York. Includes correspondence, financial and fundraising documents, curriculum and conference material.
Harry Marinsky interior design illustrations
In the 1950s and 1960s, Harry Marinsky (1909-2008) illustrated for many publications, including House and Garden, House Beautiful and Woman's Day. The New School Archives collection consists of seventy illustrations in watercolor and marker depicting residential and commercial interiors and exteriors.
Harry Scherman Library Grille collection
The Harry Scherman Library served as the main library facility for the Mannes College of Music from 1965 to 2016, originating at Mannes’s 157 East 74th Street location, and later existing at 150 West 85th Street from 1984 to 2016. The Scherman Library, over the course of its history, stored various music-related items of ephemera which constitute this collection.
