Summary A collection of eighteen 1940s and 1950s fashion and jewelry illustrations collected by art director Juke Goodman. Artists represented in the collection include René Robert Bouché, Burma Burris, Carl Erickson ("Eric"), Ruth Graftstrom, and Jacqueline Lindner. Goodman served as art director for Saks Fifth Avenue and was a visiting lecturer at Parsons School of Design.

Scope and Content of Collection Fashion illustration by René Robert Bouché depicting American fashion designer Sophie Gimbel. Summary A celebrated portraitist and leader in fashion illustration, René Robert Bouché (1905-1963) was a visiting lecturer at Parsons School of Design in 1947. The collection, assembled by Jerry Silverman and Shannon Rodgers, consists of over 100 of Bouché's fashion illustrations, as well as a poster from a 1974 exhibition of his work at Parsons.
