Five individual artists' books and three group projects created by students in artist Roni Gross's Parsons School of Design letterpress courses.

Collection documents designer, artist and Parsons School of Design teacher Robert Rabinovitz's projects from his undergraduate education at Philadelphia College of Art through his first New York collection, Spring + Crosby, and a series of poetry books produced in collaboration with students. Includes portfolios, plans and drawings, and book dummies, embodying various stages in the design process.

Stanley Diamond (1922-1991) was an anthropologist and poet instrumental in establishing the Anthropology Department of the New School for Social Research. He chaired the department for fourteen years, during which time he founded and edited the journal Dialectical Anthropology. These papers document Diamond's writings and research, his role as a teacher and administrator, and material related to his participation in conferences and public seminars.

Includes drafts of journal articles and presentations, ethnographic research data and notes, teaching materials, and correspondence with colleagues and publishers. Materials span the entirety of Diamond's career, from his doctoral dissertation on the Kingdom of Dahomey to his later interest in the intersection of anthropology and poetry. A leather portfolio embossed with "Sydney Fromkes, 1910-1927" on the front, containing student work from the brief time Fromkes attended the New York School of Fine and Applied Art before his death in 1927 at the age of 17. The portfolio contains theatrical costume drawings, poems, and other writings.
