After graduating from Parsons School of Design in 1943, Andrée Golbin (1923-2006) led a long career as a painter, graphic artist and illustrator. Serving as art director for Mademoiselle magazine in the early 1950s, Golbin also created artwork for a diverse list of clients, including several modern dance companies, Henri Bendel, and American Cyanamid.
