Conversations about Women event recordings
“Conversations about Women” was an ongoing lecture series held at The New School and organized by the Vera List Center for Art and Politics. Historian and New School women’s studies professor Gina Luria Walker moderated the panels and lectures. The audio recordings in this collection focus on biographical and autobiographical writing about women.
Independent study oral history project on New School history
This oral history project consists of six audio interviews conducted by New School for Public Engagement student Gerard O. Hemmerle as an independent study under the supervision of Professor Julia L. Foulkes during the Spring 2013 semester. Interviewees consist of long-serving university faculty and staff, primarily associated with what was known as the New School for Public Engagement. Recordings are all in English.
New School Art Collection records
This collection consists of records relating to the administration and programming of the New School Art Collection from 1987 to 2003, primarily during the tenure of Kathy Goncharov, who curated the collection from 1987 to 2000. The New School Art Collection was formally established in 1960 through a donation from Albert and Vera List.

The Vera List Center for Art and Politics is a research institute affiliated with The New School that supports artists, hosts events, organizes exhibitions, and publishes books focused on culture and politics. The Vera List Center records include program files containing planning documents and promotional material, as well as publication and administrative files.
