Brief videos present the work of the Center for New Design at Parsons School of Design, describing approaches, facilities, programs and a lecture series, "The Designer in the Twenty-First Century." Program director, Mary Howard Hylton, who founded the Center in 1999, makes introductory and closing remarks. Hylton describes the program as a collaborative space for a corporate partner to work with an interdisciplinary group of Parsons designers to apply rapidly-evolving digital media tools to design challenges.
