Draft mission statement, memorandum, and forms filled out by faculty in which they articulate the mission, history, and current needs of the Jazz program in response to a request by Martin Mueller. In a note added to the file in 2009, Mueller writes, "This statement in faculty response to 1st Mannes merge (Jazz as a part ((program)) of Mannes College) Spring 1993. Statement was never officially sent—was communicated in context & spirit fo Chuck Kaufman, then Mannes Dean; agreed to hold off making public upon assurances of our recognition and identity."
