It includes marketing materials such as brochures, magazines, and promotional catalogs, as well as material that would have been distributed at merchandising clinics. The newspaper clippings reflect Pickering’s promotions or title changes throughout his career. Included with the correspondence are two letters sent by Amos Parrish to Pickering during the holidays. Pickering organized and conducted the Executive Clinics and Fashion Clinics held in New York. Speeches from the clinics, along with merchandising workbooks for the Christmas season that were presumably distributed at clinic workshops, are also found in this series.
