The Language was a student newspaper published monthly at Eugene Lang College from October 1991 until 1998, and then once a semester until the Spring 1999 semester. The Language featured news reportage, opinion pieces, poetry and reviews. Unusual for a Lang student newspaper, The Language also featured paid advertising. The Language was run out of the Student Publication Office at The New School. It was offered as a course at Eugene Lang College, with the professor of the course credited as the "faculty advisor" in these issues.
