The Faculty Council functioned as an advocacy platform for faculty. Documents in the file indicate no similar organization for faculty existed in 1974 when the Council was established. Included are a constitution, reports, announcements, and supplementary materials.

One sheet of circular stickers with the text, "The School that creates together goes to the Bathroom together," and an image of a roll of toilet paper. This item came to the Archives with a small delivery of materials from the Parsons Dean's Office, but it is unclear who designed these stickers. They are possibly related to a campaign for gender inclusive restroom facilities at The New School.
