John Everett (1918-1992) served as president of The New School from 1964-1982. Stanley Diamond papers

Abstract Stanley Diamond (1922-1991) was an anthropologist and poet instrumental in establishing the Anthropology Department of the New School for Social Research. He chaired the department for fourteen years, during which time he founded and edited the journal Dialectical Anthropology.
