Consists of records generated by Albert Landa (1927-2008), who started in 1960 as director of Public Information and became vice president of Development and Public Relations at The New School, and then held the title of Vice President, until his retirement in 1985. The records in this collection are notable because Landa was deeply involved in a rapid expansion of the university, including its 1970 incorporation of Parsons School of Design.

The collection comprises six series, representing activities related to most of the major divisions and institutes of the university. Materials relate primarily to the development of new programs, building projects, fund raising, and public relations. Some documents in this collection are restricted. Records kept by New School faculty member Ann Snitow, largely documenting her activities in connection with the evolving status of gender studies courses and programs at The New School at the graduate and undergraduate level.

Contact sheets, film negatives, and individual photographic prints by Bonnie Geller-Geld, documenting events and classes at The New School, circa 1986-1994. Events include performances, lectures, and panel discussions, and classroom scenes include students working on art and design projects, in music classes, and sitting in lectures.

The material in this collection was assembled by New School librarian Carmen Hendershott and transferred periodically to the New School Archives. The collection includes fliers, posters, invitations, program and admissions materials, and event programs produced by multiple university divisions including the New School for Social Research, College of Performing Arts, and Schools of Public Engagement, as well as by academic support centers and offices.

The graduate school at the New School was established in 1933 as the Graduate Faculty of Political and Social Science. In its early years, the school was often referred to as the University in Exile. The division's name was changed in 2005 to the New School for Social Research (NSSR). This collection contains material related to the school gathered from a variety of sources by librarians in the Raymond Fogelman Library over a number of years.

John Everett (1918-1992) served as president of The New School from 1964-1982. This collection documents the activities of the president's office during his tenure, and includes some files from prior presidents. Also included is material from Everett's board service at other academic institutions, and manuscripts for speeches and articles he authored. Some files are restricted. The Lesley Cadman records were created or received by Lesley Cadman during her term as vice dean of Parsons School of Design. Some records pre-date Cadman's arrival at Parsons.

This collection contains several thousand photographs relating to the Mannes School of Music, from its early days in the 1910s through the 2000s, primarily representing the 1970s through the 1990s. Included are images of Mannes buildings; performances put on by different Mannes ensembles; administrative and academic events; the Mannes family; and Mannes personnel, including students, faculty, alumni, and guest artists and performers.

Collection consists of Eugene Lang College Religious Studies professor Mark Larrimore's teaching and subject files. Student work in the form of publications and posters advertising campus events are heavily represented.
