Richard Rosenfeld fashion drawings

Abstract

Fashion illustrator and Parsons School of Design alumnus Richard Rosenfeld taught figure drawing and fashion illustration at Parsons from the 1970s until his retirement in 2015. The Richard Rosenfeld fashion drawings consist of samples selected by Rosenfeld to illustrate teaching concepts and techniques.

Abstract

This collection primarily consists of drawings created by fashion designer and theater producer Robert Carreon (1947-2020) while enrolled as a student at Parsons School of Design between 1966 and 1968, as well as drawings from his Parsons admissions portfolio and publicity photos of his work from 1967 to 1969.

Summary

Suzy Lorraine Ehrlich (1919-2006), was a New York-based fashion illustrator and product designer. The collection is comprised of 69 fashion illustrations executed in pen and ink, pastel, crayon, watercolor, and collage. It also includes two mailers advertising Milliken yarns. Some illustrations may have been executed for a class taught by Jack Potter at the School of Visual Arts.

Tom Brigance fashion publicity and sketches

Abstract

After graduating from the New York School of Fine and Applied Art (later, Parsons School of Design) in 1934, Tom Brigance (1913-1990) became a fashion designer specializing in women's swimwear and sportswear. The collection includes scrapbooks of clippings and photographs of Brigance's designs, sketches, publicity materials, and four original fashion illustrations of Brigance swimwear by Dorothy Hood, produced for Lord & Taylor.
