According to the New School Course Description Archive, this course was taught in Fall 2012 by School of Jazz faculty Jane Ira Bloom. The course description reads: A performance/composition course exploring how to structure compositions and improvisations using melodic lines or horizontal motion. Consists of 1,077 PDF files migrated from a thumb drive. The images were digitized from slides prior to their donation to the New School Archives and the original slides are not part of the collection. According to Joan Russo, the files primarily consist of student artwork, although there are a number of photographs of students and others wearing face paint and costumes. The files are organized into folders by year. There are no student names or any other identifying information apart from the dates assigned by the donor.
